PERANCANGAN DAN PEMBUATAN BLADE KINCIR ANGIN PORTABLE DAYA 300 WATT

Abstract


Electricity for some is the basic necessaty in anywhere and anytime. One of the electrical power sources is wind energy. Which is used by windmill. Windmill consists of various components, one of them is a blade or vane. This component to catches the blast of wind and changes into the spinning. But the problem that most of the blades are designed for high wind speed, while the BMG Malang said that wind speed average in the city of Malang is approximately 3 - 4 ms-1, thus the blade needs to be designed and made for a small wind conditions. The appropriate according they have to LAPAN is a small scale windmill. The optimal numbers of the rotor blade are 3 because some added values such as they have small load in blade, low interference on the tower, have a good start up, work constantly, unnoisy and stable aerodinamic load. The phases are collection of required data, planning the design and calculation the propeller dimensions and tail and other supporting components. The results that are the diameter dimension of blade is 3 m and using the 3 blades with material from PVC pipe.
