PENGARUH ORIENTASI PEMIMPIN TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN BAGIAN PRODUKSI PADA PR. HF. PRIMA MALANG

Abstract


The research was a study at PR. HF PRIMA MALANG titled: ?The influence of Leader?s Orientation to Employee Work-Satisfaction?. The research aimed to find out leader?s orientation and production department employee?s work satisfaction and was the leader?s orientation had significant influence to work satisfaction.
Analytical tools used to find out the influence of leader?s orientation to employee work satisfaction was scale range analytical technique and multiple linear regression. The object was production supervisor and production employee of PR HF PRIMA Malang. Data collection technique was done by questionnairre for all production employees. While finding out the significancy of leader?s orientation variable with work satisfaction using F test and t test. In this research the writer took one hypothesis stated that leader?s orientation influenced employee work satisfaction.
Scale range analysis showed that production orientation variable was on proper determination scale, where the average score was 364 and work satisfaction was reached average score 395,25 in high determination scale. The XI coefficient was on high valuation. Coefficient of X1 0,255 and X2 was 0,458. The determination coefficient was 0,52 or 52% and rest of them 48% influenced by another factor. From multiple linear regression there found Fcount. And from multiple linear regression there found Fhitung sebesar 59,942 lebih besar daripada F table yaitu sebesar 3,081.
So that could be concluded that the applied leader orientation was well and the work satisfaction was high. Worker?s orientation had significant influence to the work satisfaction from production department. The work satisfaction could be seen from company?s standard and low anxiety.
