PENGARUH CARA PEMBERIAN PAKAN DAN PENAMBAHAN PROBIOTIK PADA BEKATUL TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN TDN (TOTAL DIGESTIBLE NUTRIENT) PADA DOMBA EKOR GEMUK

Abstract


This research has begun on August 11 until 30, 2003 in the experimental farm Animal Husbandary and Fishery Faculty University Muhammadiyah of Malang.
The target of this research is to know the feeding methods and addition of probiotic at feed in take rice brant and the digestion of energy (Total Digestible Nutrient) in fat tail sheep.
The material that used in this research are 16 fat tail sheep ( 8 male sheep and 8 female sheep). The age of fat fail sheep between 3 until 4 months, with 10 kg until 18 kg weight. The method of this research using Randomizea Block Design (RBD), where feeding method as first factor and probiotic addition as the second factors. Consist of A1B1 (gift of maize tree first before concentrate with addition probiotic), A1B2 (gift of maize tree first before concentrate without probiotik). A2B1 (gift of consentrate first before maize tree with addition probiotic), A2B2 (gift of consentrate first before maize tree without addition probiotic). The sample take from each fesses fat tail sheep (16 tail). The sample of rice brant and sample of corn slover.
The result of this research is indicating that there was interaction between in A factor and B factor to total consume TDN. Interaction significant (p<0,01). On the digested step TDN factor B (kind of eating) significant (p<0,01).
The conclusion of this research is method kind of food with increasing probiotic (B1) show the step of disgeted biggest on TDN (87.59 percent). The consumtion on TDN biggest from step A1B2 (1429.29 gram) (gift of maize tree first before concentrate without probiotic).
