ANALISIS PENJUALAN APEL LOKAL DI MATAHARI SUPERMARKET KARAWACI TANGERANG

Abstract


The purpose of this research is: 1) Trend analysis of local apple sales in Matahari Supermarket Karawaci Tangerang; 2) Forecasting analysis of local apple sales for 12 month later in Matahari Supermarket Karawaci Tangerang; 3) Analysis of which variables are have effect for local apple sales in Matahari Supermarket karawaci Tangerang; 4) To know which variable have correlation with another variable.
Sales analysis can see with use trend and forecasting from variable sales value, sales volume, cost, price, supply, damage fruit volume and lost benefit. We used time series data from August 2002 until August 2003. To answer the problems, we used research method are trend analysis, forecasting method with seasonal index, multiple regression and path analysis.
The research result show that trend from variables used is decreasing except price variable has increase to the two kind local apple in Matahari Supermarket Karawaci Tangerang. Decreasing the variables because capability of consumer had under normally, its happen because government make a policy to increase electricity tariff, gases, telephone and LNG by together.
With used seasonal index, it can be happen again what it happen at the same month at last year. The analysis result of multiple regression of two model local apple has coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,898 for Rome Beauty apple and 0,669 for Manalagi apple.
The value of F count for Rome Beauty apple is 17,482 and 4,046 for Manalagi apple. This both F count value bigger than F table are 2,85, its mean the independent variable can make a contribution for dependent variable. If the independent variable have partial test, the result give that variable of cost, price, supply and damage fruit volume for both local apples showing not significant because the value of t count smaller than t table are 1,782.
The path analysis result shows those variables that have correlation with not passing by for Rome Beauty apple are price variable through cost variable with value 0,637, supply variable through price variable with 0,123 and damage fruit volume variable through price variable with 1,379. For Manalagi apple, cost variable through supply variable with 22,217, price variable through supply variable with 103,063, supply variable through price variable with 14,843 and damage fruit volume variable through price with 8,698.
